There was a dispute between two parties regarding crop grazing in Chharrapatti Bahiyar of Hemjapur OP in Dharhara police station area of Munger district. Due to the dispute, firing started immediately. Six people from one side were injured in this incident.
After the incident, the relatives of the injured blocked National Highway-80 near Chharrapatti Chowk for about three hours demanding the arrest of people from the other party. Due to the jam, Munger Lakhisarai Main Road Ghanta operation remained disrupted. After getting information about the incident, police from several police stations including Hemjhapur Police, Safiasarai OP Police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
Giving information, the injured person Avinash Yadav said that Tikar Yadav, a resident of the village, along with his family members, badly injured my father Munilal Yadav, brother and mother by beating them with sticks. He told that the corn crop is destroyed every day. If you say something, they start fighting. This morning when I went to speak, all the families together started beating my family and started firing. My house was also set on fire.
Hemjapur OP in-charge Sanjay Kumar said that information about the incident has been received. Police have been sent to the incident site. The injured person has been sent to Sadar Hospital Munger with the help of police and efforts are being made to clear the jam.
